With acquiring a mortgage becoming harder to achieve these days all borrowers need are more stringent rules to cope with. That’s exactly what has happened, again, with lenders. New guidelines are being implemented to make the process even more difficult to qualify for.
Even though foreclosure rates are still on the rise in the U.S., many lenders are losing their cases in court simply
due to the fact that they do not have sufficient documentation to support their cases. This latest information,
released by Ralph Grant of the Massachusetts court system, shows that in some of the cases the banks lacked
enough evidence to prove that they are the actual bearers of the mortgages.
The luxury home belonging to Bernard Madoff’s sister in law has been placed on the market. The Palm Beach, Florida mansion is priced at a cool $6.5 million.
